Mark Peters and the Silhouettes

The Silhouettes were backing singer Ken Dallas from the late 1950s before he left and Mark Peters stepped in.
Mark Peters and the Silhouettes line-up rarely changed thoughout their success in the Sixties. Bob O'Hanlon replaced Brian Johnson on drums. Bob O'Hanlon had been in the group before when they backed Ken Dallas. Bob was replaced by Tony Sanders. Rod McClelland left the group and Mally Aston switched from rhythm guitar to lead.

Singer Mark Peters, whose real name was Mark Fleming, was backed by many different groups throughout his career including the The Method, The Cyclones and The Hi-Spots. His brother Steve Fleming was also often in the line-ups of his backing groups.

They also recorded the song 'Someday' which was featured on the LP 'This Is Merseybeat' in 1963.
