Formerly known as the Tremelos, the Fentones were an instrumental group. It is unclear as to when they changed their name, but they are most famous for backing singer Bernard Jewry who changed his name to Shane Fenton.
John Theakston died of rheumatic fever.
Bobby Elliott was later in the Hollies.
