Aardvark were a keyboard driven band who formed at the end of the 1960s. In a time when LPs were bigger business than singles, Aardvark were given the opportunity to record what would be their only album on the Decca subsidiary label Deram. Paddy Coulter was the original organ player in the band. Although he is thanked for helping to write three of the songs on their LP, Paddy Coulter did not record with them.
Steve Milliner played piano on the Black Cat Bones LP 'Barbed Wire Sandwich', also released in 1970. David Skillin wrote songs for the band Home in the 1970s.
